THE SCTA 2010 Resource Fair was a Success !!!
Greetings from Southern Counties Training Association!
SCTA held its annual Vendor Resource Fair on Wednesday April 14, 2010 at the The Hacienda Restaurant in Santa Ana. This was a well attended event, 12 vendors and sixty participants from Southern California Local, County and State agencies were in attendance. Vendors gave individual presentations to SCTA members in the restaurant's court yards and offered thier current course catalogs and products.
A free buffet lunch was served at 11:30am. Vendors were then afforded the opportunity to make formal presentations to those in attendance. The presentations were informative and allowed time for the vendors to describe and share information on thier offered courses and products.
This was an excellent opportunity for members to exchange business cards with vendors and other SCTA members. Some members also brought their plans for next year's training catalogues to discuss options with vendors and other training agencies. Good Luck to all as we look forward in planning our 2010/2011 training year.
